Is the death of the credit card nigh?

by on , under Credit, Uncategorized

It is quite likely that in just a few years time, no one will carry a credit card on their person or even inside of their wallet anymore. As the ability to pay for goods and services using a mobile phone becomes more prevalent, I am sure that apps will be designed by credit card companies to make paying on credit even simpler, thus negating the need for a plastic card. This could be devastating if the new, quicker way to pay simply encourages people to purchase more using money which is not – strictly speaking – their own. Hopefully the economic climate will remain stable however and not too many people will be in need of credit repair advice.
